The Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA) reports that meal delivery during the COVID-19 crisis has expanded to serve 509 new clients in addition to the 328 existing clients, which makes 837 seniors now receiving meals and commodities.
“No Senior Left Behind is our promise,” says ACCA executive director Eve Anthony. “We’ve delivered 11,175 emergency food relief meals since March 16.” For those who want to contribute to the effort, visit accaging.org.
