Wheels of Hope needs volunteer drivers

Wheels of Hope is a low to no cost transportation nonprofit that serves people who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill who are no longer able to drive.  The demand for their services has outpaced their current volunteer base and they are now looking for volunteer drivers to meet the needs of the community.  Using their own vehicles, volunteers provide arm-in-arm, door-through-door service, assistance, and companionship to clients and stay with them through the entirety of the trip.  If you are compassionate and reliable, have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and are looking for ways to make a real difference for people in our community, please contact Wheels of Hope at 706-765-8332 or by email wheelsofhopeathens@gmail.com. To learn more about the organization, please visit their website:  wheelsofhopeinternational.org.
