Madison Antiques Show and Sale

The Madison Morgan Cultural Center will host the 18thAnnual Madison Antiques Show & Sale on Feb. 22 – 23. Browse furniture, pottery, art, silver, textiles, and more along with free lectures, and a Preview Party on Thursday, Feb. 21. Proceeds benefit the Center. Check out a ukulele!

The Athens-Clarke County Library now offers ukuleles for check-out, and lessons on their website www.athenslibrary.org.Must be over 18 and sign an agreement. Late fees are $3 a day.

UGA Golf Course renovated

Renovations at the UGA Golf Course have been completed with both facility and customer service updates such as a new entranceway that provides a clearly defined entrance to the course as well as an ADA-approved ramp. Improvements also were made to the driving range field and the cart path near hole 14.

Romanov collection at GMOA

The Reluctant Autocrat: Tsar Nicholas IIis now on display at the Georgia Museum of Art through March 17. The exhibition marks the 100thanniversary of the end of World War I, the Bolshevik Revolution, and the execution of the last Russian emperor and his family. It includes photographs, clothing, military artifacts, jewels, icons, and ephemera from the Romanov family. Many of the objects are part of a major gift to the museum and have not been on display for more than a century.
